The original MTB group continues its legacy of remaining the standard for mountainbikers everywhere. Nearly three decades in, the Deore XT brand is defined by its trail-tested durability, reliability and performance. As mountainbiking becomes faster and faster and the terrain even more technical, the M8100 series aims to give the rider the necessary feeling of confidence and safety.

Following the principle of passing on the experiences and technologies of the top series, the Deore XT incorporates the innovations of the high-end XTR components. Accordingly the new 12-speed groupset features of course Micro Spline and Hyperglide+.

Shimano Deore XT FC-M8100 crank

To ensure an efficient power transmission, the Shimano Deore XT FC-M8100 1x12-speed crank offers not only a rigid but, thanks to its hollow forged crank arms, also a light design. For a quick and secure chainring installation the crank for aggressive Trail riding features a Direct Mount system.

In connection with the Shimano SM-CRM85 chainrings with Dynamic Chain Engagement+ technology (sold separately), the FC-M8100-1 crankset holds the chain safely even on rough terrain and guarantees at the same time an efficient, smooth and quiet drivetrain.
